Overview

Process memberships, AAA/VISA transactions, and enter and verify all membership input data from user source documents with prompt, professional Five Diamond Service to staff.

Responsibilities

 

  • Enter alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into computer following format displayed on screen.
  • Compare data entered with source documents, or re-enters data in verification format on screen to detect errors.
  • Organize and assign batch numbers for new and renewal processing from Member Records Department input each day.
  • Follow standardized procedures which include special handling and exceptions for daily membership processing.
  • Maintain user documentation for data entry functions.
  • Process employee, Life, 50 year and complimentary memberships. 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one year of general accounting or equivalent experience.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:          

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and taste or smell.

 

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
