    Generating revenue for the Club through the use of innovative ideas, programs, initiatives, and enthusiasm to reach required goals while maintaining accountability for negotiable and non-negotiable assets in an assigned service center. 



    • Leads a team of professionals which will focus on excellence in product, service, performance, systems and relationships for and with the team's customers.
    • Sets realistic goals for service center and promote goal-setting by each employee to achieve the common goal
    • Works with staff to conceive innovative ideas and programs to reach goals
    • Promotes the vision of the company and encourage employees to embrace that vision through genuine enthusiasm
    • Demonstrates leadership skills, initiative, and sales productivity
    • Mentors by example a sense of integrity that is shared with employees, customers and colleagues
    • Creates an atmosphere where positive reinforcement helps each employee become self-confident and self-reliant in his/her position
    • Generates new sales in all departments through traditional and non-traditional methods
    • Improves/maintains quality standard scores as complied by the National Office and within HMC stated goals.
    • Interviews, hires, and selects employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; maintaining payroll, vacation requests and attendance records; coordinating training; appraising performance fairly; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
    • Builds a team that will focus on meeting the challenges and succeeding
    • Conducts monthly staff meetings with the purpose to lead, teach, and encourage
    • Ensures employees have the necessary resources and training to complete all tasks
    • Delegates responsibilities appropriately to encourage employee growth
    • Communicates effectively with employees; listens
    • Manages conflict toward a win-win solution
    • Appraises performance of staff through ongoing feedback and performance reviews
    • Addresses complaints through solution-finding techniques
    • Performs managerial responsibilities

    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four‑year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 



    • Valid driver's license with good driving record and ability to meet State of Indiana legal requirements
    • Certified Car Seat Safety Technician (within 6 months)



    • Demonstrable leadership, supervisory, organization, and communication skills
    • Ability to learn Hoosier Motor Club policies, services, programs, and procedures as well as understand AAA Profit & Loss Statements and to learn cost control measures
    • Familiar with budget preparation and forecasting



    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.


    The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
