    Now Hiring a Marketing Manager

     

    Hoosier Motor Club is seeking a Marketing Manager to oversee the development and implementation of marketing for Insurance, Travel, Membership and Financial products, managing a variety of projects from concept to completion. This person will partner with business lines to leverage investments in direct marketing promotions.

    AAA Hoosier Motor Club, headquartered in Indianapolis, provides membership benefits including emergency roadside assistance, retail discounts and a variety of products and services for its 438,000 members across Indiana. It also operates a full-service travel agency and an insurance agency which markets and sells auto, home and life insurance. Hoosier Motor Club has 300 employees and operates 13 retail branch offices including seven in metro Indianapolis as well as Bloomington, Clarksville, Kokomo, Lafayette, Muncie, and Terre Haute. And it is an affiliate of the American Automobile Association (AAA), the largest motoring and leisure travel organization in North America with more than 58 million members.

    Responsibilities

    1. Develops and implements insurance, travel, membership and financial services promotion strategies.
    2. Directs promotion programs that combine advertising with purchase incentives including direct mail, telemarketing, television and radio advertising, catalogs, exhibits, inserts in newspapers, Internet advertisements or websites, in-store displays or product endorsements and special events.
    3. Works with Sr. VP Marketing and other executive management to develop and implement plans in order to achieve business goals.
    4. Recommends marketing programs and provides creative direction.
    5. Provides communications and consultative support to reinforce and effectively implement the brand strategy.
    6. Collects and analyzes data from each promotion to evaluate existing and potential product/service markets.
    7. Implements marketing plan and manages details and maintenance to the programs.
    8. Coordinates and manages all aspects of event promotions.
    9. Oversees contract negotiation and relationship management.
    10. Performs additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.

    Qualifications

    Education and/or Experience Requirements:

     

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business; or a related field with 3-5 years of experience; or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of position.
